  •  garlic cloves chopped
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper freshly ground
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt 
  • cups whipping cream 
  • pounds yukon gold potatoes peeled thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 40
  2. Layer potatoes in a 13- x 9-inch or 3-qt. baking dish.
  3. Stir together cream and next 4 ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Pour cream mixture over potatoes.
  5. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes, stirring gently every 10 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let stand on a wire rack 10 minutes before serving.
