Ingredients

  • teaspoon almond extract 
  • 0.5 cup firmly brown sugar light packed
  • tablespoons cornstarch 
  • 0.3 cup cup heavy whipping cream sour
  • 2.3 cups coconut or sweetened loosely packed flaked
  • 0.5 cup butter unsalted
  • 1.3 cups whipping cream

Directions

  1. Stir together cornstarch, almond extract, and 2 Tbsp. water in a small bowl.
  2. Bring whipping cream, brown sugar, and butter to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Remove from heat, and immediately whisk in cornstarch mixture. Stir in coconut and sour cream. Cover and chill 8 hours.
