  • 16 ounce beef tenderloin steaks trimmed (1/)
  • 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar dark
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • cup strong coffee decoction brewed

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag.
  2. Add steaks; seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  3. Prepare grill.
  4. Remove steaks from marinade, discarding marinade.
  5. Place steaks on a grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 2 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
