  • tablespoon butter 
  • 0.8 cup coca-cola 
  • tablespoon ginger fresh minced
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.8 cup catsup 
  • tablespoons juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon liquid smoke 
  • 0.5 small onion minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • servings salt to taste
  • tablespoons steak sauce 
  • tablespoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, ginger, and garlic; saut 3 minutes or until tender.
  3. Stir in reserved cola; bring mixture to a boil. Stir in ketchup and remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Note: For testing purposes only, we used A1 Steak Sauce.
