Ingredients

  • 1.3 cups water 
  • 1.8 cups chicken broth reduced-sodium (from 32-oz carton)
  • teaspoon suya seasoning mix salt-free
  • cup rice uncooked
  • cup broccoli chopped
  • 0.5 cup carrots shredded ( 1 medium)
  • oz pimientos diced drained

Directions

  1. In 3-quart saucepan, heat water, broth and seasoning blend to boiling. Stir in rice; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  2. Stir in broccoli and carrot. Cover and cook about 5 minutes or until rice and broccoli are tender. Stir in pimientos.
  3. Let stand 5 minutes.
