  • 2.5 teaspoons paprika 
  • servings vegetable oil; peanut oil preferred 
  • servings pepper romesco red
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt divided
  • cup cornmeal yellow

Directions

  1. Pour oil to a depth of 1" into a large skillet; heat to 37
  2. Meanwhile, combine cornmeal and paprika in a shallow dish.

  4. Fry oysters, 4 to 6 at a time, 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown.
