  • teaspoon juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.5 teaspoon lemon zest grated
  • pound lump crab meat drained
  • 0.3 cup mayonnaise 
  • 1.5 tablespoons mayonnaise (such as Spectrum brand)
  • tablespoon olive oil divided
  • 0.3 cup panko bread crumbs (Japanese breadcrumbs)
  • tablespoon shallots chopped

Directions

  1. To prepare crab cakes, combine first 8 ingredients.
