Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • large eggs 
  •  to 4 green onions chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground pepper red
  • cup half-and-half 
  • teaspoon lemon rind grated
  • 12 ounce lump crab meat rinsed drained canned
  • 0.5 teaspoon old bay seasoning 
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • ounce parmesan cheese shredded
  • 15 ounce piecrusts refrigerated
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Unfold piecrust, and place on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Roll to 1/8-inch thickness. Carefully place piecrust in a 9-inch pieplate; fold edges under, and crimp.
  3. Bake on lowest oven rack at 400 for 8 minutes. Cool.
  4. Saut chopped green onions in hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Stir in crabmeat and next 3 ingredients; saut 2 minutes.
  5. Whisk together half-and-half and next 3 ingredients in a large bowl; stir in cheese and crabmeat mixture.
  6. Pour into prepared crust.
  7. Bake on lowest oven rack at 400 for 35 to 40 minutes or until set.
  8. Let stand 15 minutes.
