Ingredients

  • 16 ounce cream cheese softened
  • teaspoons cilantro leaves dried
  • small jalapeño peppers diced seeded finely
  • tablespoon juice of lemon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 10 ounces cranberries dried sweetened
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil 
  • 0.5 cup water as needed
  • 0.5 cup sugar white to taste

Directions

  1. Heat a saucepan over medium heat; add oil. Stir cranberries into hot oil and cook until cranberries absorb most of oil, 5 to 10 minutes.
  2. Mix sugar, water, jalapeno peppers, lemon juice, cilantro, and salt into cranberries; cook until reduced and softened, 10 to 15 more minutes.
  3. Add more water if needed.
  4. Pulse cranberry mixture in a food processor or blender until very smooth; cool completely.
  5. Stir cooled cranberry mixture and cream cheese together in a bowl until smooth and creamy.
