  • 0.5 cup butter 
  • 0.3 cup celery finely chopped
  • servings rice hot cooked
  • pound crawfish tails peeled
  • 1.5 tablespoons flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh finely chopped
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.3 cup bell pepper green chopped
  • 0.5 cup spring onion finely chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper white
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • 0.5 teaspoon hot sauce 
  • large onion chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 cup water

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and next 3 ingredients; saut, stirring constantly, 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in crawfish and next 5 ingredients; cook 5 minutes. Stir in flour; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in water gradually; cook over low heat 20 minutes, stirring mixture occasionally.
  5. Stir in green onions and parsley; cook 3 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice.
