Ingredients

  • tablespoons butter 
  • stalk celery sliced
  • 1.8 cups chicken broth organic swanson® regular, Natural or Certified
  •  green onions sliced
  • 0.1 teaspoon ground pepper black
  • 1.5 cups milk 
  • medium potatoes peeled sliced

Equipment

  • food processor
  • sauce pan
  • blender

Directions

  1. Heat butter in saucepan.
  2. Add onions and celery and cook until tender.
  3. Add broth, black pepper and potatoes.
  4. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  5. Place half the broth mixture and half the milk in blender or food processor. Cover and blend until smooth. Repeat with remaining broth mixture and remaining milk. Return to saucepan.
  6. Heat through.
