Ingredients

  • 14.5 ounce canned tomatoes diced undrained canned
  • 16 ounce carton cream sour low-fat
  • tablespoons cilantro leaves fresh divided chopped
  •  garlic cloves minced
  •  jalapeno seeded finely chopped
  • teaspoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup onion finely chopped
  • teaspoon habanero pepper sauce or any hot pepper sauce hot

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and jalapeo; cover and cook 3 minutes or until onion is tender.
  3. Add tomatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Cool completely. Stir in 2 tablespoons cilantro, pepper sauce, and sour cream. Cover and chill.
  4. Sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon cilantro.
