Ingredients

  • tablespoons butter divided melted ()
  • small onion chopped
  • ounces cream cheese 
  • 0.7 ounce salad dressing mix italian
  • lbs chicken pieces 
  •  garlic clove chopped
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth 
  • 10.5 ounce cream of chicken soup canned

  • slow cooker

Directions

  1. Place chicken pieces in crock pot and sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken.
  2. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons melted butter.
  3. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  4. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a sauce pan and saute onion and garlic.
  5. Add Cream of Chicken Soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth.
  6. Add this mixture to crock pot and cook on low for an additional hour.
