  • 0.8 cup celery chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme leaves dried
  • 2.5 cups less-sodium chicken broth fat-free
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 1.5 cups bell pepper green chopped
  • 0.5 cup green onions chopped
  • teaspoon hot sauce 
  • 1.5 tablespoons olive oil 
  • cups onion chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 0.8 cup rice long-grain uncooked
  • 0.5 pound shrimp deveined peeled
  • tablespoons tomato paste 
  • 0.5 pound turkey kielbasa sausage sliced
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce

  • dutch oven

Directions

  1. Coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add sausage; saut 4 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Add oil and next 4 ingredients to pan. Cook 8 minutes or until tender, stirring constantly.
  5. Add broth and next 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil; add rice. Return to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 22 minutes or until rice is tender.
  6. Add shrimp and reserved sausage; cover and cook 3 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat; stir in green onions.
  8. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
