  • teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • tablespoons dijon mustard 
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.1 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 0.8 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 
  • 0.5 cup milk 1% low-fat
  • tablespoons butter chilled cut into small pieces and
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 42
  2. Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl; cut in margarine with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  3. Combine milk and mustard; add to flour mixture. Stir until the flour mixture is moist.
  4. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 5 or 6 times.
  5. Roll dough to about 1/2-inch thickness, and cut with a 1 3/4-inch biscuit cutter.
  6. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 425 for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
