Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup cider vinegar 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • cup apricots dried coarsely chopped
  • teaspoon mustard dry
  • cup golden delicious apple peeled coarsely chopped
  • cup onion coarsely chopped
  • 1.3 teaspoons pumpkin-pie spice 
  • 0.3 cup raisins 
  • cup water divided

Directions

  1. Combine 1/2 cup water, apricot, and next 6 ingredients (apricot through red pepper) in a medium saucepan, and stir well. Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add 1/2 cup water and apple. Cook, covered, an additional 15 minutes or until apple is tender.
  3. Remove from heat; uncover and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  4. Note: Refrigerate remaining chutney in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
