Ingredients

  • cups cherries dried
  • stick cinnamon (3-inch)
  • tablespoons ginger fresh minced peeled
  • teaspoon ground cardamom 
  • teaspoons ground coriander 
  • teaspoon ground cumin 
  • tablespoon jalapeno minced
  • teaspoon orange rind grated
  • 0.5 cup raspberry vinegar 
  • 1.5 cups red wine vinegar 
  • cups sugar 
  • cup vidalia diced sweet
  • cups water

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and cook, uncovered, until thick (about 1 hour), stirring occasionally. Discard cloves and cinnamon.
  2. Serve warm or at room temperature.
  3. Note: Leftover chutney can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
