Ingredients

  • 0.8 cup breadcrumbs 
  • tablespoons butter melted
  • tablespoons cooking sherry dry
  • 1.5 tablespoons parsley fresh minced
  • 1.5 tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • 24 ounce select oysters fresh drained
  • 2.3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Combine butter, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice; mix well and set aside.
  2. Layer half of oysters in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Spoon half of butter sauce over oysters; top with half of parsley and breadcrumbs. Repeat layers.
  3. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  4. Pour sherry over casserole, and serve immediately.
