  • 1.5 cups couscous 
  • tablespoon curry powder 
  • teaspoon ground pepper black
  • tablespoons olive oil extra-virgin
  • 0.5 cup raisins 
  • teaspoons salt 
  • 0.5 cup slivered almonds toasted

Directions

  1. Pour couscous into a bowl.
  2. Mix chicken stock, curry powder, salt, pepper, olive oil, and raisins in a saucepan and bring to a boil; remove from heat.
  3. Pour the boiling liquid over the couscous. Seal the bowl with plastic wrap and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Fluff couscous with a fork. Top with cilantro and almonds.
