Ingredients

  • tablespoons butter 
  • 2.5 cups leek sliced
  • cups hash browns frozen southern-style (from 32-oz bag)
  • cups corn frozen
  • cup water 
  • cups skim milk fat-free (skim)
  • 0.3 cup flour all-purpose
  • 14.5 oz salmon skinless flaked drained canned
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • serving parsley fresh chopped

Directions

  1. In 3-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add leeks; cook and stir 5 to 7 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  3. Add frozen potatoes, corn and water; mix well.
  4. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  5. In small bowl, stir together milk and flour until smooth.
  6. Add to vegetable mixture; cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.
  7. Stir in salmon, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Cook until hot.
  8. Sprinkle each serving with parsley.
