  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • teaspoon sesame seed black
  • tablespoons canola oil 
  • tablespoon dijon mustard 
  • 0.3 lb radicchio thinly 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup scallions finely chopped
  • teaspoon asian sesame oil 
  • tablespoon sesame seed toasted
  • tablespoon sherry vinegar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon sugar

Directions

  1. Trim endives and halve lengthwise.
  2. Cut pieces in half crosswise, then cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-wide strips.
  3. Cut radicchio in half and discard core, then cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-wide strips. Soak radicchio and endives in a large bowl of very cold water to crisp, 10 minutes, then drain and dry.
  4. Whisk together mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, grapeseed oil, and sesame oil in another large bowl until emulsified.
  5. Add endives, radicchio, scallions, and sesame seeds and toss until coated well.
