Ingredients

  •  avocado ripe
  • cups chicken broth organic swanson® natural goodness® (Regular, or Certified )
  • tablespoon chili powder 
  • 1.5 teaspoons cilantro leaves dried fresh chopped
  • clove garlic mashed
  • 0.3 cup spring onion with tops) chopped
  • large romaine leaves dark green (romaine or other lettuce)
  • tablespoons juice of lime 
  • servings bell pepper red minced
  • servings cream sour

Directions

  1. Cut the avocado into quarters and remove the pit and peel. Tear the lettuce into pieces.
  2. Place the avocado, lettuce, onions, garlic, lime juice, chili powder, cilantro and 2 cups of the chicken broth in a blender or food processor. Cover and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the avocado mixture into a 2-quart saucepan.
  4. Add the remaining broth. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve with the sour cream and red pepper.
