  •  eggs 
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground allspice 
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • 0.3 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • cup prune- cut to pieces 
  • cup prune- cut to pieces cooked chopped
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 cup shortening 
  • cup walnut pieces chopped
  • cup granulated sugar white

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour one 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and allspice. Set aside.
  3. Cream the shortening with the white sugar. Blend in the eggs one at a time and beat well for 1 minute.
  4. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the prune juice. Stir in the prunes and nuts.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 minutes or until done.
