  • pounds brown turkey figs fresh cut into (1/4-inch) pieces ( 6 cups)
  • 0.3 cup juice of lime fresh ( 3 limes)
  • cups sugar

  • potato masher

Directions

  2. Let stand 2 hours. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer 35 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken slightly, stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Cover and chill overnight.
