  • tablespoons balsamic vinegar 
  • ounce beef tenderloin steaks trimmed ()
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black
  • tablespoons peppercorns green drained
  • tablespoons brown sugar 
  • 12 servings cilantro leaves 
  • teaspoons olive oil extravirgin
  • 0.5 cup cilantro leaves fresh coarsely chopped
  •  garlic clove peeled
  • 0.5 cup spring onion coarsely chopped
  • teaspoons honey 
  • tablespoons juice of lemon fresh
  • 0.3 cup soy sauce low-sodium
  • 0.3 cup orange juice fresh
  • teaspoons orange zest grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoons sesame seed toasted

Directions

  1. Prepare grill.
  2. To prepare sauce, combine the first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook until reduced to 1/3 cup (about 6 minutes). Cool.
  3. Place the onions, cilantro, peppercorns, garlic, and oil in a food processor; process until finely chopped.
  4. Add orange juice mixture, sesame seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; pulse to combine. Set aside.
  5. To prepare steaks, sprinkle the beef with 1/2 teaspoon salt and black pepper.
  6. Place steaks on a grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 3 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  7. Serve steaks with sauce.
