- 16 ounce beef tenderloin steaks trimmed ()
- 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
- 1 teaspoon bottled garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons butter divided
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 0.3 cup cooking sherry dry
- 0.5 cup less-sodium beef broth fat-free
- 1.5 cups pre mushrooms
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons shallots chopped
- 2 teaspoons water

- Sprinkle beef with salt and pepper. Melt 1 teaspoon butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add beef to pan; cook 3 1/2 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
- Remove beef from pan; keep warm.

- Add mushrooms, shallots, and garlic to pan; saut 3 minutes. Stir in broth and sherry.
