Ingredients

  • tablespoons almonds sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • pound flank steak trimmed
  • teaspoons garlic fresh chopped
  • 1.5 ounce bread 
  • teaspoons olive oil extra virgin extra-virgin
  • 0.3 teaspoon paprika smoked spanish
  • ounce roasted peppers red drained
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt divided
  • tablespoon sherry vinegar

Directions

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Arrange almonds and bread in a single layer on a baking sheet. Broil 1 minute or until lightly browned.
  3. Add almonds and bread to a food processor; process until coarsely ground.
  4. Heat olive oil, garlic, and paprika in a small skillet over medium heat; cook for 1 minute or until garlic begins to brown.
  5. Add garlic mixture, sherry vinegar, bell peppers, and 1/8 teaspoon salt to bread mixture; process until smooth.
  6. Sprinkle steak evenly with remaining 3/8 teaspoon salt and black pepper.
  7. Place on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray; broil 5 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
  9. Cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices.
  10. Serve with sauce.
