  • 1.8 pound flank steak trimmed
  • tablespoon ginger fresh minced peeled
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 0.5 cup green onions minced
  •  habanero pepper minced seeded
  • teaspoons jamaican jerk seasoning 
  • servings tomato-avocado salsa

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl. Score a diamond pattern on steak.
  2. Place steak in a shallow dish.
  3. Spread green onion mixture on steak. Cover and marinate in refrigerator at least 8 hours.
  4. Prepare grill.
  5. Place steak on grill rack coated with cooking spray; grill 6 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
  6. Let stand 5 minutes.
