Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon garam masala (scant)
  • tablespoons spring onion minced
  •  hardboiled eggs 
  • tablespoon jalapeno minced seeded
  • 1.5 teaspoons mango chutney minced
  • 3.5 tablespoons mayonnaise 
  • 12 servings radishes finely chopped

Directions

  1. Shell eggs, then cut in half lengthwise.
  2. Transfer yolks to small bowl and mash with fork.
  3. Mix in mayonnaise. Stir in onion, jalapeño, chutney, and garam masala. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spoon yolk mixture into whites. Top generously with chopped radishes . (Can be made 4 hours ahead. Cover loosely and refrigerate.)
  5. Available in most supermarkets, mango chutney varies greatly in quality and flavor by brand. We recommend Trader Joe's chutney. Garam masala is available in the spice section of many supermarkets and at Indian markets.
