  • 14.5 ounce canned tomatoes diced undrained canned
  • 30 ounce cannellini beans beans white rinsed drained canned
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • 0.3 teaspoon rubbed sage dried
  • cup bell pepper green chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper black
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup water 
  • cup bell pepper red yellow chopped

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add bell peppers, and cook 5 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently.
  3. Add garlic and crushed red pepper; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in water, sage, beans, and tomatoes; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes or until thick, stirring occasionally.
  4. Sprinkle with black pepper.
