  • 2.5 lb top round beef roast 
  • large onion sliced
  • tbsp cooking oil 
  • water to cover meat
  • oz tomato sauce 
  •  beef bouillon cubes 
  • tbsp paprika 
  • 0.5 tsp pepper 
  • tbsp flour

Directions

  1. Cut roast in 1 inch cubes. In Dutch oven, brown meat, and onions in oil.
  2. Add water, bouillon cubes, flour, tomato sauce, paprika, and pepper. Simmer low for 2 hours, until meat is tender.
  3. Serve over egg noodles.
  4. This dish cooks up very well in a crock pot.
