  • 1.8 cups cacao bittersweet chocolate chips 60% ghirardelli®
  • 0.3 cup ghirardelli cocoa unsweetened
  • 0.3 cup heavy cream 
  • tablespoons butter unsalted cut into small pieces

Equipment

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the cream to a simmer.
  2. Add the butter and stir until melted.
  3. Add the chocolate chips. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from the heat and pour into a shallow bowl.
  5. Cool, cover, and refrigerate the mixture until firm, at least 2 hours.
  6. Using a melon baller or small spoon, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  7. Roll each ball in the cocoa or nuts. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
