  • ounces cheese blue crumbled
  • ounce tomato sauce canned
  • 0.3 cup chicken stock see 
  •  eggs lightly beaten
  • cloves garlic chopped
  • pounds pd of ground turkey 
  • servings kosher salt and pepper black freshly ground
  • ounces mushrooms finely chopped
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • 0.5 cup panko breadcrumbs (Japanese)
  • pinch pepper flakes red
  •  shallots sliced
  • large vidalia onion chopped
  • tablespoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Watch how to make this recipe.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large saute pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add mushrooms, onions, and garlic.
  5. Saute until mushrooms are browned, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  6. Stir in red pepper flakes and saute for 1 more minute.
  7. Add chicken stock and Worcestershire sauce, remove from heat and allow to cool.
  8. In a large bowl, combine egg, panko, blue cheese, and mushroom mixture. Fold in turkey and combine. Don't over work or the meatloaf will be tough.
  9. Shape into a long rectangular loaf directly on a sheet tray. Spoon tomato sauce on top of the loaf and shingle sliced shallots down the top.
  10. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes, and serve.
