  • 1.5 cups honey 
  • tablespoon lime zest finely minced
  • cup water

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat; let stand 1 hour. Strain mixture through a fine wire-mesh strainer, discarding solids. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
