  • tablespoons cornstarch 
  • 0.3 cup crystallized ginger finely chopped
  • large egg yolks 
  • teaspoon lemon rind grated
  • cups milk 1% low-fat divided
  • Dash salt 
  • 0.7 cup sugar 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  4. Remove mixture from heat; stir in butter, rind, and vanilla.
