- 4 medium beets peeled cut into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 0.3 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2.5 cups orange juice
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 2.5 cups water
