  • cup wine dry white
  •  garlic clove sliced
  • large bunch crossing over quintessential american desserts cut into 1" strips
  • servings pepper freshly ground
  • servings lemon wedges 
  • cups chicken broth low-sodium
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • medium onion sliced
  • tablespoon paprika 
  • sprigs rosemary 
  • sprigs thyme leaves

  1. Sprinkle chicken with paprika;season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heatoil in a large pot over mediumheat.
  3. Add chicken skin side downand cook, turning occasionally,until brown on all sides, 8-10minutes; transfer to a plate.
