Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar 
  • lb bacon 
  • 28 oz baked beans canned
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar light packed
  • 32 oz butter beans drained and rinsed canned
  • 16 oz kidney beans drained and rinsed canned
  • 15 oz lima beans drained and rinsed canned
  • teaspoon ground mustard dry
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • medium size onion yellow sliced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 35
  2. Cook bacon, in batches, in a large skillet over medium-high heat 8 to 10 minutes or until crisp.
  3. Remove bacon, and drain on paper towels, reserving desired amount of drippings in skillet. (We reserved about 3 Tbsp.) Crumble bacon.
  4. Saut onions in hot drippings over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes or until onions are tender.
  5. Add brown sugar and next 4 ingredients. Cover and cook 20 minutes.
  6. Combine butter beans, next 3 ingredients, bacon, and onion mixture in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  7. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
