Looking for a refreshing and unique treat that’s perfect for any occasion? Look no further than Grape Cubes! These delightful frozen snacks are not only a feast for the eyes but also a guilt-free indulgence that everyone can enjoy. With their vibrant colors and naturally sweet flavor, Grape Cubes are an excellent addition to your antipasti platter, a fun starter for your next gathering, or a simple snack to cool down on a warm day.

What makes this recipe truly special is its versatility. It’s vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary preferences. Plus, with only 6 calories per cube, you can enjoy them without any guilt! The process is simple and quick, taking just 45 minutes to prepare a batch that serves 28 people. Imagine the delight of your guests as they pop these refreshing grape-infused ice cubes into their drinks or enjoy them on their own.

Not only do Grape Cubes provide a burst of flavor, but they also offer a fun way to experiment with different grape varieties. Keep an eye out for interesting seedless grapes, like the new seedless Muscat, which adds a delightful twist to this already fantastic recipe. So, gather your ingredients and get ready to impress your friends and family with this innovative and delicious treat!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 pound grapes green red seedless
  • cups water chilled

Equipment

  • sieve
  • blender

Directions

  1. Cut the grapes in half and divide into two equal parts. Puree half of the grapes with 1/2 cup of the water in a blender until smooth, for about 30 seconds.
  2. Pour the rest of the water into a pitcher. Strain the pureed grape mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into the pitcher, and stir well.
  3. Place the remaining grape halves in the wells of standard ice cube trays. Fill the trays with the grape-water mixture and freeze.
  4. WATER PAIRINGS:Squirt of Apio-ReyTIP:Be on the lookout for interesting seedless grapes. My favorite for this recipe is a new seedless Muscat—it has all the flavor of a regular Muscat grape without the bother of the seeds.
