Ingredients

  •  chicken breast halves bone-in
  • ounce feta cheese crumbled
  •  garlic cloves crushed
  • 16  kalamata olives pitted
  • slices garnishes: lemon oregano sprigs fresh
  •  lemons thinly sliced
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • teaspoons oregano dried
  • teaspoon pepper freshly ground
  • teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Lift skin gently from chicken breasts without detaching it; place 2 garlic cloves under skin of each breast. Replace skin.
  2. Rub breasts evenly with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Place lemon slices in a 13- x 9-inch baking dish, and arrange chicken breasts over lemon.
  4. Sprinkle olives around chicken.
  5. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until done.
  6. Remove from oven, and sprinkle with feta cheese.
  7. Garnish, if desired.
