  • tablespoons balsamic vinegar 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • pound green beans trimmed
  • tablespoons oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes minced
  • large onion sliced into thin rings
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add onion, and cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Reduce heat to medium; cook 15 to 20 minutes or until deep golden brown, stirring frequently.
  3. Add balsamic vinegar, and cook 2 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add tomatoes.
  6. Cook haricot verts in boiling water 2 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Set aside.
  7. Combine haricot verts, onion mixture, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  8. Serve immediately.
