  • 0.3 cup chicken broth ready-to-serve canned
  • pound green beans fresh
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
  • teaspoon garlic minced
  • small ham hock 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon thyme leaves dried whole
  • 1.8 cups tomatoes peeled seeded coarsely chopped
  • cup water
