Ingredients

  • 14.8 oz haricots verts frozen with toasted almonds organic cascadian farm®
  • tablespoon olive oil 
  • medium onion sliced
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 14.5 oz canned tomatoes diced organic undrained canned
  • teaspoon oregano dried fresh chopped
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  • oz feta cheese crumbled

Directions

  1. Cook beans as directed on boxes, reserving almonds; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic; cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently, until onion is crisp-tender.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, oregano and pepper flakes.
  5. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and most of liquid has evaporated.
  6. Spoon drained beans onto serving platter; top with tomato mixture.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese and reserved almonds.
