Grilled Banana Splits offer a delightful twist on the classic dessert by combining smoky, caramelized fruits with creamy ice cream and rich chocolate sauce. This gluten-free treat is perfect for warm evenings when you crave something sweet yet fresh and light. The grilling process transforms the bananas and pineapple, enhancing their natural sweetness and adding a subtle charred flavor that pairs beautifully with the cold, creamy textures of fat-free vanilla ice cream and low-fat chocolate frozen yogurt.

What makes this recipe especially appealing is its quick preparation time—ready in just 15 minutes—making it an excellent choice for spontaneous gatherings or a fun family dessert. Toasted pecans and sweetened coconut add a satisfying crunch and tropical flair, while maraschino cherries provide a classic, colorful finishing touch. Using baby bananas with green tips or regular bananas ensures versatility, and substituting canned pineapple slices can save time without compromising flavor.

Whether you're grilling on a gas or charcoal grill, the method is straightforward yet impressive, turning simple ingredients into a festive and nutritious treat. Each serving contains a balanced mix of protein, fats, and carbohydrates, with just 361 calories per person, making it a guilt-free indulgence. Treat yourself and your guests to this vibrant, flavorful combination that feels indulgent but is surprisingly wholesome and easy to make.
