  • pound beef tenderloin trimmed
  • 1.5 tablespoons brown sugar 
  • tablespoon dijon mustard 
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 12 servings pebre sauce 
  • 0.5 cup soya sauce 
  • 0.3 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Stir together first 5 ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Place tenderloin in a shallow dish.
  3. Pour marinade over tenderloin; cover and marinate in refrigerator 8 hours, turning occasionally.
  4. Remove meat from marinade, discarding marinade.
  5. Place tenderloin on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  6. Bake at 400 for 45 to 60 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in thickest part registers 145 (medium-rare) or 160 (medium).
  7. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve with Pebre Sauce.
