Ingredients

  • servings bell pepper sliced
  • tablespoons cilantro leaves fresh chopped
  •  garlic clove chopped
  • pound ground chicken 
  •  hawaiian rolls 
  •  jalapeno seeded chopped
  • servings lime 
  • teaspoon lime zest 
  • servings onion sliced
  • 0.5 cup panko bread crumbs uncooked (Japanese breadcrumbs)
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.8 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon soya sauce 
  • tablespoons tequila

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to 350 to 400 (medium-high) heat. Pulse ground chicken, cilantro, garlic, and jalapeo pepper in a food processor 3 to 4 times or until combined.
  2. Add panko or oats, tequila, lime zest, salt, pepper, and soy sauce; pulse until combined. Shape into 5 patties. Grill, covered with grill lid, 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion registers 165; remove from grill. Keep warm. Reduce grill temperature to 300 to 350 (medium) heat. Grill sliced bell peppers and onions 4 minutes on each side or until tender.
  3. Serve burgers, bell peppers, and onions on buns with Cilantro-Lime Mayonnaise.
