  • tablespoon flat-leaf parsley chopped
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 10 servings garnish: green onion strips 
  • 0.3 cup green onions sliced
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • ounce olive tapenade 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  1. Slice bread into 24 (1/2-inch-thick) slices, discarding ends.
  2. Whisk together olive oil and next 3 ingredients.
  3. Brush evenly on one cut side of each bread slice.
  4. Grill bread slices over medium heat (300 to 35
  5. to 3 minutes on each side.
  6. Stir together olive tapenade and parsley; garnish, if desired.
  7. Place green onion slices in a small bowl.
  8. Serve tapenade and green onions with bread.
  9. Note: For testing purposes only, we used Cantar Olive Tapnade, which can be found in the deli section of large supermarkets.
