Ingredients

  • tablespoons teriyaki sauce (from 15-oz bottle)
  • tablespoon canola oil 
  • teaspoons pumpkin pie spice 
  • 0.5 teaspoon thyme leaves dried
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  •  jalapeno with seeds, finely chopped
  • 1.5 lb flank steak

Directions

  1. In heavy-duty resealable food-storage plastic bag, place all ingredients except beef.
  2. Add beef; seal bag and turn to coat beef. Refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours to marinate.
  3. Heat gas or charcoal grill.
  4. Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade.
  5. Place beef on grill. Cover grill; cook over hot heat about 10 minutes, turning once, until slightly pink when cut in center.
  6. Let stand 5 minutes. To serve, cut across grain into thin slices.
