Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup t brown sugar dark packed ()
  • 15 cloves garlic minced
  • large spring onion chopped
  • 0.5 cup rice wine sweet ( Japanese rice wine)
  • 0.3 cup sesame oil 
  • pounds beef ribs korean-style (beef chuck flanken, cut)
  • cup soya sauce 
  • servings sesame seed with toasted sesame seeds chopped
  • 0.3 cup rice vinegar

Directions

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients in medium bowl; whisk to blend well.
  2. Pour into heavy jumbo resealable plastic bag.
  3. Add ribs; seal bag. Turn bag over several times to coat ribs evenly. Refrigerate overnight, turning bag occasionally.
  4. Prepare barbecue (medium-high heat).
  5. Drain ribs; discard marinade. Working in batches, grill ribs until browned and cooked to medium-rare, about 3 minutes per side. Mound ribs on platter; surround with chopped spinach and serve.
