Ingredients

  • small bell pepper cut into strips (any color)
  • small butternut squash peeled cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 0.5 cup spring onion 
  • 0.3 cup maple syrup 
  • 0.3 cup orange juice 
  • pound kielbasa fully cooked cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Heat coals or gas grill for direct heat.
  2. Cut four 18x12-inch sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Place sausage, squash and bell pepper on each foil sheet.
  4. Sprinkle with onions.
  5. Mix syrup, orange juice and salt in small bowl; pour over sausage mixture on foil sheets. Fold foil over sausage mixture so edges meet. Seal edges, making tight 1/2-inch fold; fold again. Allow space on sides for circulation and expansion.
  6. Cover and grill packets 4 to 6 inches from medium heat 35 to 40 minutes or until sausage is thoroughly heated and squash is tender.
  7. Place packets on plates; unfold foil.
